Russia’s Cultural Week underway in Tehran, Isfahan

More than 130 Russian artists are attending the event.

The inaugural ceremony of the Russian Cultural Week was held on Tuesday night in Vahdat Hall in Tehran with the participation of senior officials, including Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

More than 110 prominent Russian artists in a range of fields including music, fine arts, and cinema, along with their accompanying delegations (around 130 people), are attending the event.
Russian Cultural Week is scheduled to be held in Tehran and Isfahan with various programs, including a performance of the Tchaikovsky Symphonic Orchestra in Tehran and Isfahan, a screening of Russian films during Russian Movie Week in Tehran’s Book Garden and Isfahan’s City Center, specialized meetings on Russian cinema, as well as cultural, handicraft, and fine arts exhibitions in the Niavaran Cultural Complex in Tehran.
