Early this morning, the sound of multiple explosions was heard in various parts of Tehran.
Images currently circulating on social media show explosions in some northern, western, and central areas of the city.
Following the incident, Israel Katz, the Israeli Minister of Defense, announced: “We are carrying out a preemptive operation against Tehran.”
