The Japanese Prime Minister described the Israeli regime’s aggressive attacks as unacceptable and strongly condemned them.

According to the Persian report of ISNA, Shigeru Ishiba on Friday condemned the Israeli regime’s attack on Iran and pledged to work with other G7 members to help de-escalate tensions in the Middle East.
He stated: “At a time when diplomatic efforts to peacefully resolve the Iranian nuclear issue are ongoing, it is completely unacceptable for Israel to resort to military means. This action is deeply regrettable, and I strongly condemn it.”

Ishiba added: “All actions that could further escalate the situation must be avoided.”
He also noted that Japan’s position on the matter would be presented during the two-day G7 summit, set to begin Monday in Canada.

Japan, a country with limited resources, has traditionally maintained friendly relations with Iran, having long relied on it for crude oil supplies.
