President Pezeshkian described the Israeli regime’s attacks on Iran as proof of its aggressor nature and emphasized that, since taking office, he has worked to strengthen peace, stability, and security in the region. "But wherever we sought progress, the regime disrupted and sabotaged our efforts," he said.

Saudi Crown Prince: Saudi Arabia Will Stand by Its Iranian Brothers

According to the Persian edition of Hamshahri Online, on Saturday evening (June 14, 2025), President Pezeshkian held a phone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Pezeshkian first expressed appreciation for his “fraternal support” and thanked him and Saudi authorities for their services to Iranian pilgrims in Mecca and Medina. Turning to the attacks, he emphasized that Israel had acted with an aggressor mentality and sabotaged any progress Iran hoped to make since his presidency began.

He further urged unity among Muslim nations as a countermeasure to genocidal acts by the Israeli regime—especially in Gaza. “Saudi Arabia, given its position in the region and the Islamic world, can play a key role in strengthening unity in defense of Muslim rights. I hope our cooperation brings lasting peace to the region,” he added.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman responded by condemning the “cruel aggression” and offering condolences to the Iranian people for those killed in the attacks. He stated, “Saudi Arabia stands with its brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the entire Islamic world supports you. I will exert diplomatic pressure to stop Israeli aggression.”

He also said, “We believe Israel is attempting to draw the United States into this conflict, but Iran’s wise response will deny them that opportunity. Saudi Arabia will not withhold any assistance from its Iranian brothers.”

Pezeshkian: Pressuring Through Force—America’s Failed Strategy
President Pezeshkian later spoke with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar. He opened by thanking him for his empathy and solidarity and emphasized that, from day one, he sought cooperation with neighboring and Muslim countries to enhance regional prosperity. “But Israel from the start tried to wreak havoc,” he said, adding that American support for Israel’s aggression betrayed its earlier assurances that Israel would not act without Washington’s consent.

Pezeshkian reiterated that Israel’s recent atrocities confirm its aggressive nature and disregard for human life. “I am confident that coordinated efforts by Muslim countries can hold Israel accountable and end its violations, especially against the oppressed people of Gaza. The Islamic Republic of Iran possesses full capacity to defend itself and will not hesitate to protect its land and citizens.”

Qatar Declares: “We Stand with Iran”
Emir Tamim expressed deep sympathy with the Iranian people and strongly condemned the “cowardly aggression.” He affirmed, “Qatar stands with its brothers in Iran and supports your doctrine of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving disputes and establishing peace and security. We will convey this stance in diplomatic engagement and support collective pressure to halt Israeli aggression.”

Notably, yesterday media outlets reported that the President of the United States held separate calls with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, the Emir of Qatar, and Israel’s Prime Minister regarding regional tensions. They also revealed that the U.S. President, France’s President, and Italy’s Prime Minister had individual discussions with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince concerning Iran.
