Intercepting each barrage of Iranian ballistic missiles costs Israel approximately $287 million

Israel’s air defense system has faced increasing challenges since the outbreak of the Gaza war in October 2023, but the recent barrage of ballistic missiles from Iran has taken the threat to an entirely new level, Haaretz reported.
Mehr News Agency’s Persian section quoted a Jordanian newspaper as saying that the Zionist regime uses multiple air defense systems to intercept Iran’s missiles—at a massive financial cost.
Mehr also cited Hebrew media outlets reporting that intercepting each barrage of Iranian ballistic missiles costs Israel approximately $287 million.
