Video: Netanyahu has been claiming “Iran is close to a nuke” since 1996!

While Netanyahu often cites the goal of preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear bomb—or destroying its nuclear facilities, which are peaceful in nature—as justification for attacking Iran, CNN’s footage reveals that this narrative has remained unchanged for nearly three decades.
Since June 13, the Zionist regime of Israel has launched waves of missile and drone attacks on Iran, killing numerous civilians, including women and children.
The regime has also targeted Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, which are under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The CNN clip also shows Netanyahu once used similar rhetoric about Iraq, claiming it was close to developing nuclear weapons. However, after Saddam Hussein’s fall, it became clear that Iraq did not possess any nuclear weapons.
