Peskov said: “Russia continues its partnership with Iran and its trust-based relations with Israel. Israel has assured Russia that Russian experts at the Bushehr nuclear power plant will not be under threat of attack.”
The Russian official noted that Putin believes that even in such a complex dispute between Iran and Israel, finding a solution is possible.
“Iran has not requested military assistance from Russia, but overall, Moscow’s support for Tehran is clear and evident,” Peskov said.
U.S. military intervention in the Iran-Israel conflict would mark a terrifying escalation of tensions, he concluded.
