Anwar Gargash, a diplomatic advisor to the president of the United Arab Emirates, has criticized Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich who had demanded various countries to fund the Israeli regime in its aggression on the Islamic Republic.
The audacity of Smotrich has reached the point of calling for the Persian Gulf littoral states and Germany, France, and the U.K. to assist Israel in military actions on Iran, Gargash wrote on his X account on Monday.
The Persian Gulf littoral states condemned the Israeli attacks and called for a diplomatic solution in the interest of regional stability and its people, he said.
Smotrich’s request is nothing but a moral failure of a far-right individual who has no idea about the consequences of the tension, he noted.
Since the start of its aggression on Iran on June 13, Israel has also struck nuclear facilities of Iran, among other civilian targets. The regime has also assassinated several top military officials and nuclear scientists, in addition to taking civilian lives in its daily attacks.
The United States, in an unprovoked act, joined Israel in the aggression against Iran on June 22 as it bombed nuclear sites of Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow early that year.
Iran has strongly denounced the violation of its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, saying that it will take all necessary and appropriate measures to protect its people, and land in accordance with international law.
