Iran, Russia, and China consult on nuclear developments, UN Security Council Resolution 2231

A joint meeting attended by diplomatic delegations from Iran, Russia, and China was held on Tuesday, June 23, hosted by Iran’s Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, the representatives discussed and exchanged views on the latest developments in nuclear negotiations, the lifting of oppressive sanctions, and related issues.
The participants emphasized the strong determination of their countries to continue close consultations, coordinate positions and actions, and agreed to hold such meetings at various levels in the coming weeks.
In addition, the heads of the Russian and Chinese delegations held separate talks with Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs and the Director General for International Peace and Security of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
