The event will be held concurrently with the 31st anniversary of the establishment of the global FIRA Federation.
This year’s competition features various categories, including the Humanoid Robot Olympics, self-driving automobiles, bird robots, and innovation and business in robotics.
In addition, leagues for aid robots, wheeled athlete robots, intelligent combat robots, and the “Mission Impossible” challenge for school students will also be held.
This annual national event is an opportunity to identify talents, enhance skills, and prepare teams to take part in international competitions. Iran’s Open FiraCup, in addition to fostering competitive opportunities inside the country, serves as a starting point for creating scientific and industrial cooperation among universities, research centers, and the private sector.
FIRA, as one of the world’s largest robotics and AI competitions, brings together more than 2,000 participants from around the globe each year. It serves both as a platform for competition and as a venue for expanding scientific and industrial cooperation, thereby accelerating technological development.
