Emphasizing that “in a world burdened by war, crisis, and uncertainty, we believe in the healing power of imagination and the strength of children,” Dainamania invites storytellers, illustrators, and game developers to present fresh approaches for fostering imagination, play, and a deeper understanding of life.
According to the award’s guidelines, creators of any background or experience who are interested in working for and with children can participate in the International Dainamania Competition. The competition features categories such as children’s stories (including illustrated books, guidebooks, and young adult novels), interactive games, playful storytelling, illustrated and visual narratives, as well as hybrid formats that blend play, education, and emotion.
Aria Gazor, the secretary of the event, stated: “The competition consists of eight sections, including literature, games, entertainment, and music,” adding that it is planned as an international event, since “its true appeal lies in drawing messages of peace and special attention to children from all over the world.”
