ELECOMP, held annually at Tehran’s Permanent Fairground, serves as a platform to showcase the latest achievements in electronics, computers, and e-commerce.
According to Heidari, more than 500 Iranian companies and around 70 foreign firms are expected to take part. He noted that more than half of the foreign companies that had initially cancelled their attendance due to the recent regional situation, now have expressed readiness to attend.
Heidari also announced the addition of a new section titled “Talks”, where individuals will be able to deliver speeches. “So far, about 150 individuals have enrolled to participate in this section,” he added.
This year’s exhibition will be held under the slogan “Intelligent Investment, Sustainable Development” with a particular focus on cybersecurity.
The event is scheduled for September 26–28.
ELECOMP is recognized as Iran’s most important specialized event in the fields of information technology and communications. The exhibition provides a strong platform for showcasing the capabilities, innovations, and achievements of active companies.
Heidari stated that “China, Germany, Italy, and South Korea are among the countries participating in the event.” He added that while more than 600 companies had expressed readiness to attend, due to space limitations, 500 companies will exhibit across 20 halls.
