Iran’s Foreign Ministry: Forced displacement of Gazans is a crime against humanity

In a statement, the ministry strongly denounced the regime’s decision to evacuate Gaza and displace its residents and refugees once again, leaving them without shelter. The ministry emphasized the responsibility of the international community and Islamic countries to confront these heinous war crimes.
According to the statement, the decision of the occupying Zionist regime to forcibly expel Gaza’s residents—who have endured relentless bombardment for nearly two years and, over the past five months, have been subjected to deliberate starvation—constitutes a blatant war crime and a crime against humanity. The move, it said, is intended to complete the plan to eradicate the Palestinian people and eliminate Palestine as a nation and identity.
The statement stressed that this decision is the outcome of the regime’s impunity, rooted in the political and military support it receives from the United States and certain European countries, as well as in the failure of the UN Security Council and other international bodies to hold its leaders accountable.
The ministry further noted that the Zionist regime’s forced displacement of Gaza’s residents is aimed at the total destruction of Palestine’s existence and national identity in the strip, and at completing the genocide of Palestinians. It also condemned the dangerous claim of the regime’s prime minister, who has declared his intention to pursue the vision of a “Greater Israel”—encompassing vast areas of Islamic and Arab nations—exposing the regime’s expansionist and domination-seeking nature, and the grave threat it poses to regional and global peace and security.
The statement also warned against the regime’s plots to escalate killings and commit further crimes under the pretext of pushing Gazans to the south of the strip. It called for urgent action by the international community, particularly Muslim nations, to stop the ongoing warmongering and genocide against Palestinians. It further underlined that inaction and indifference in the face of such tyranny only embolden the regime to continue its crimes and pursue its criminal expansionist agenda.
