Early this morning, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran launched its large-scale missile exercise “Eghtedar 1404” [Might 1404] with the participation of missile and defense units. Lasting two days, this drill is part of the Army’s annual program to strengthen combat preparedness and test new defense achievements.

According to commanders present at the exercise, the latest domestically produced missile systems and equipment are being employed. Various stages include the launch of short- and medium-range missiles, evaluation of radar systems, and countering aerial threats.

Beyond demonstrating the deterrent power of the Islamic Republic of Iran, “Eghtedar 1404” also serves as an opportunity to operationally assess advanced defense systems and improve coordination among different Army units. Military experts believe such maneuvers play a vital role in bolstering defensive strength and sending a clear message to potential adversaries.
