The 19th International Iran Plast Exhibition is being held at the Tehran Permanent Fairground from September 8 to 11. The event is open to the public daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The 2025 edition of Iran Plast is expected to boost the domestic plastics market and strengthen the industry’s presence in international markets.
As the largest plastics exhibition in West Asia, Iran Plast has earned a place among the most reputable events in the global plastics industry. The exhibition serves as a platform to showcase achievements and enhance the competitiveness of Iran’s plastics sector.

A wide range of companies from related industries are taking part in the event to present their latest innovations and accomplishments.

Mohammad Moghare, the executive manager of the exhibition, noted that Iran Plast was first launched in 2002 with the aim of expanding business opportunities in the country’s polymer industry. “In its first year, the exhibition hosted only two domestic production units,” he said. “But this year, despite challenges and restrictions, the strong presence of Iranian companies proves that competition and participation are possible under any circumstances.”

According to Moghare, the current edition has set a new record for domestic participation. “Even under the best conditions, we had never registered more than 650 companies. This year, however, 750 domestic companies are taking part. In addition, 67 foreign companies from various countries are present, covering a total exhibition area of 120,000 square meters.”

Providing details about participants, he added: “Some 29 percent are from the raw materials sector, 19 percent from machinery, 47 percent from fabricated and semi-fabricated products, and 4 percent from technical, basic, and engineering services.”

Moghare also said that around 200 foreign business representatives have attended the exhibition so far. “This event offers a valuable opportunity to expand trade, boost exports, and promote international cooperation. Our main buyers are from neighboring countries,” he noted.
