Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for discussions on a range of issues, including the future of the region.
According to reports, the main focus of the talks was on strategic regional matters and the situation of Islamic countries. Both sides exchanged views on the prospects for the region.
The meeting also addressed the expansion of economic cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Among the economic topics raised were resolving trade-related challenges and exploring joint investment opportunities in various sectors.
In addition, Larijani met with Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, the Crown Prince’s brother. Khalid bin Salman stated in a message that the two discussed Saudi–Iranian relations, regional developments, efforts to strengthen security and stability, and other matters of mutual interest.
Together, these meetings highlight ongoing dialogue between Tehran and Riyadh over regional strategy, stability, and economic collaboration.
