Director General of Veterinary Medicine Organization of Mazandaran province Hamzeh Aghapour stated that effective steps have been taken in the recent years to improve the production processes and exports of this product overseas.
Upon improving the customs processes and reducing time for customs clearance of products from the provincial ports, exports of caviar from this province to other countries registered a considerable 40 percent growth as compared to the same period last year, Aghapour noted.
In this period, exports of the dairy products from this province also registered a significant 119 percent growth, he added.
