Avash News: Arsalan Zare stated that about 50 percent of the Persian Gulf’s coastline lies adjacent to Bushehr Province. Given its 937 kilometers of shoreline, the province’s vast tourism potential must be utilized, he emphasized.
According to Zare, ten islands in the province possess distinctive tourism capacities. “Proper planning is essential for strengthening tourism infrastructure,” he added.
He noted that Khargo is the first island in Bushehr Province to be officially approved as a tourism island.
Located in southern Iran, Bushehr is the country’s 17th-largest province by area. It lies along the Persian Gulf coast and includes 22 islands and peninsulas. Bushehr is also a popular tourist destination, home to attractions such as the Bird Park featuring 25 bird species, Jafreh Pier, the tourist village of Nakhl Taghi, Khourmoj Castle dating back to the Qajar era, and the tomb of Atousa, daughter of Cyrus the Great, among many others.
