Avash News: Shiraz, located in Iran’s Fars Province, has drawn international attention in the fields of culture and the arts, hosting a significant gathering on cinematic cooperation attended by both domestic and foreign officials.
According to the planned program, a major meeting aimed at deepening cinematic collaboration was held and warmly welcomed by international guests. The diversity of participants highlighted Iran’s serious intention to expand cinematic ties at the global level. Ministers of culture, ambassadors, and cultural attachés from 23 countries — including the Republic of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, Greece, India, Armenia, France, Bolivia, Uruguay, Russia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Niger, and Senegal — discussed and exchanged views.
The International Fajr Film Festival is hosting 200 foreign guests this year. The festival began on Nov. 26 and will continue until Dec. 3. Each day, five films are screened, and participants also have the opportunity to watch two restored films of significant cultural value.
