Avash News: In a meeting with Iranian entrepreneurs, Seyed Abbas Araghchi and the attendees discussed and exchanged views on the role and position of Iran’s Foreign Ministry in advancing economic diplomacy in the country.
Emphasizing the important role of economic issues in foreign policy, Araghchi said that “efforts to remove sanctions and contributing to the advancement of the country’s economy are two important missions of Iran’s Foreign Ministry.”

Pointing to the field-oriented approach of the diplomatic apparatus in supporting economic projects, the senior official said that “being present alongside the projects, resolving banking, transportation, and legal problems, as well as facilitating the path of cooperation with foreign counterparts, are among the main aspects of this approach.”
Araghchi said that entrepreneurs and economic activists have a key role in enhancing national capabilities and added that “Iran’s Foreign Ministry facilitates and makes effective the route of cooperation with foreign counterparts, particularly in the region and with neighbors.”
The members of the Assembly of Entrepreneurs also presented their approaches and suggestions regarding challenges and economic obstacles and emphasized the necessity of interaction between the private sector and the diplomatic apparatus.
