Iran’s president: Iran–U.S. talks were a step forward; Iranians respond to respect with respect

Avash News: The president said that dialogue has always been Iran’s strategy for peacefully resolving issues.

He noted that Iran’s position on the nuclear issue is based on the rights mentioned in the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

“Iranian people have always responded to respect with respect, but they do not accept the language of coercion.”

Iran–U.S. talks, which were held with the follow-up of friendly governments in the region, were a step forward. Dialogue has always been our strategy to resolve the issue peacefully. Our logic on the nuclear issue is the rights recognized in the NPT. The Iranian nation has always responded to honor with honor but will never accept the language of force.
