Health minister:

210 children martyred by US, Israel since start of Iran war

Iran's Health Minister Mohammadreza Zafarghandi said about 210 children have been killed during the war, including 168 in an attack on a school in Minab.

Mohammadreza Zafarghandi said one of the most painful incidents in the first moments of the war was the attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, which killed 168 children, adding that around 210 children erre martyred during by the United States and the Israeli regime so far.

Zafarghandi made the remarks on the sidelines of a hospital visit in Tehran.

He said the number of injured people under the age of 18, including children and teenagers, has reached 1,510 nationwide, which indicates that the war has gone beyond military confrontation and caused extensive harm to civilians, especially children and women.

The minister added that nearly 300 health, medical and emergency centers have been damaged by the United States and the Israeli regime since the beginning of the war, while around 30 ambulances have also been damaged and taken out of service.

He also said 23 healthcare personnel have been martyred so far, adding that Imam Ali Hospital in Andimeshk was damaged again by the United States and the Israeli regime for the second time during the war.
