Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has criticized United States President Donald Trump for being influenced by Israel, saying that the American people are rejecting “Israel First” policy pursued by Trump.

“AI experts in the United States should make President Trump aware of the reality of people in his country participating in the “No Kings” protests. The American people are angry about “Israel First”. They are tired of Israeli kings ruling over American democracy,” Pezeshkian said on X late Sunday.

A day earlier, people joined “No Kings” protests across all 50 US states against the war in Iran and President Trump’s policies. The demonstrations turned violent in some cities, including Los Angeles, where police fired tear gas to disperse the crowds. Arrests were made as well.

The protesters rejected Trump’s policies, saying they are threatening democracy in the US. They carried banners with signs reading “Trump Lies, Soldiers Die,” and “No King, No Tyranny.”

Inside Iran, people have been holding nightly rallies nationwide since February 28, when the US and Israel launched their ongoing war of aggression and assassinated Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the first day of the war.

The rallies have been taking place in a show of support for the Islamic Republic and its new leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the assassinated leader.

Reacting to the rallies, Trump claimed that the pro-government protests were fake and AI-generated.
