The President, responding to Donald Trump’s threats about attacking Iran’s infrastructure, stated: “Does threatening to send a nation back to the Stone Age mean anything other than a large-scale war crime?”

Masoud Pezeshkian wrote in a post on his X account, in both Persian and English:

“Does threatening to return a nation to the Stone Age mean anything other than a large-scale war crime? This was a question I asked my Finnish counterpart, who is a legal expert.

History is full of examples of those who paid a heavy price for remaining silent in the face of criminals.”

U.S. President Donald Trump, in a recent speech, threatened to send Iran back to the Stone Age by destroying its infrastructure. The United States and Israel launched a war against Iran on February 28, in which thousands of civilians have been killed.
