After the president of the United States threatened Iran that he would destroy Iran’s power plants, bridges, and roads, a number of Iranian celebrities reacted symbolically to raise global attention to this threat, which amounts to a war crime.

Avash News: Israel and the United States jointly initiated a war of choice against Iran on February 28 by targeting the Leader of the Islamic Republic, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, at his residence. The war continues to the 40th day, during which many civilians were killed in airstrikes and many residential, trade, and educational centers, including universities and research centers, were ruined.

Trump, in one of his latest statements, threatened Iranians that he would destroy all bridges and Iranian power plants so that Iran would be immersed in darkness.

Reacting to this message by Trump, Ali Qamsari, an Iranian composer and instrumental player, decided to attend Tehran’s Damavand Power Plant and start to play music in a symbolic manner to act as a human shield.
Then, Benyamin Bahadori attended Tabi’at Bridge and started to read a Hafez poem, and after that Ali Zand-Valikili, an Iranian vocalist, attended a railway and sang a song from there.

These symbolic moves were followed by other people’s reactions so that in different cities of Iran, citizens formed human chains in front of power plants to protect them at the cost of their lives.

Tonight, on the 40th day, a two-week truce was announced between Iran and the United States, which is certainly the result of cooperation and resistance of all Iranians from the beginning of the war.
