Iranian, Pakistani interior ministers meet in Kyrgyzstan

The Ministers of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan have held talks in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, aiming to enhance bilateral relations.

The public relations office of Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior announced that Mohsin Naqvi met with his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momani, in Bishkek.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Ministers of Interior meeting, which is being hosted by Kyrgyzstan.

Momani arrived in Kyrgyzstan on Thursday, leading a high-level delegation to participate in the SCO Ministers of Interior summit.

Upon his arrival, the Iranian minister, highlighting the objectives of the summit, described the meeting as a significant opportunity for both regional and bilateral consultations.
