Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei has said that there are no plans for the inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to visit the damaged peaceful nuclear facilities.

He made the remarks during his weekly press briefing on Tuesday, emphasizing that Iran has no plans for IAEA’s inspectors to visit the damaged peaceful nuclear facilities of the country.

He stressed that Iran has not held any meeting with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi and “has no program for inspections of nuclear facilities damaged as a result of US and Israeli aggression

There is currently no protocol or mechanism for such inspections, he stated, adding that Iran will continue its existing procedures in line with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Responding to US claims about the start of nuclear talks and the possible deployment of inspectors to Tehran, Baghaei rejected the assertions as unfounded.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman also commented on the recent IAEA Board of Governors resolution, thanking the countries that “acted responsibly” and did not cooperate with the United States and European states.

He praised Russia, China, and Niger for voting against the resolution, describing their stance as “responsible,” while criticizing those who voted in favor, saying such “double standards are unacceptable.”

Turning to Iran’s blocked assets, Baghaei underlined that Iran will decide on use of unfrozen funds with no restrictions in this regard.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he pointed to a ceasefire in Lebanon, adding that ceasefire in Lebanon has included in memorandum of understanding (MoU) inked between Iran and the United States.

He went on to say that there is no justification for continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon.

Israel-Hezbollah war is a complex issue with final arrangements expected soon, he said, stating that US is obligated to force Israel to halt its attacks on southern Lebanon.

Regarding the European parties’ role in the process of negotiations between Iran and the united States, the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman pointed out that the European parties showed no effort and adopted an irresponsible stance during the so-called snapback mechanism discussions.

European countries have effectively marginalized themselves from Iran-related negotiations due to their conduct over the past two years, advising them to change approach if they seek a meaningful role in the process, Baghaei underlined.

He stressed that Europe’s position will not improve through complaints alone, saying that if European states want to play a role, they must revise their approach toward Iran and regional developments.

Responding to France’s claims that it has a role in Iran’s nuclear program and should be part of any final agreement, Baghaei dismissed the remarks, saying such statements amount to “empty talk from a position of irrelevance.”

He also lashed out at a pattern among some European states of sidelining themselves while simultaneously attempting to obstruct any emerging diplomatic process.

The spokesman said France in particular must reconsider its approach if it seeks influence in the process, urging Paris to adopt a more constructive stance toward regional developments instead of making negative statements.
