Iran has recorded an emphatic 8-1 victory over the hosts in their second match of the CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship 2026 held in Dushanbe.
Shaghayegh Motamedi (2), Elham Anafjeh (2), Maral Torkaman (2), Fereshteh Karimi, and Maryam Ghaed-Amini scored for Iran.
The tournament’s top individual awards have gone to Iranian players:
Best player: Maral Torkaman
Top Scorer: Fereshteh Karimi
Best Goalkeeper: Farzaneh Tavassoli
Motamedi has also been named the best player of the Iran-Tajikistan match.
Iran had earlier defeated Kyrgyzstan 5-0 in their opening match of the competition.
