Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, was martyred in a terrorist attack carried out by Israel against Tehran.
In the early hours of today, Israel launched attacks on Tehran and several other parts of the country.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the overnight assault on Iran as unprecedented, claiming the aim was to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities.
He added, “We are in a decisive moment in Israel’s history, as we have launched Operation ‘A Nation Like a Lion.’”
The Israeli Prime Minister further stated, “Iran still has the capability to strike us, and we are prepared for that. I ask our citizens to cooperate with us in the coming days.”

The comments were made during a meeting in Moscow on Friday between Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
