The meeting took place on Monday during Pezeshkian’s visit to Kyrgyzstan to attend and address the SCO leaders’ summit and the SCO Plus meeting.
The two leaders reviewed the latest developments in bilateral relations and stressed the need to strengthen and expand cooperation between Iran and India in areas of mutual interest.
Pezeshkian is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with other participating leaders during his visit, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
