The Head of the Atomic Energy Organization stated in an interview: "In the attack on Natanz, there was no radiation leak that could cause public concern."

Mohammad Eslami, Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, in a televised interview, extended his condolences on the martyrdom of senior military commanders, nuclear scientists and professors, as well as innocent women and children. He stated: “At dawn, simultaneously with the Zionist regime’s terrorist operation in Tehran, the Shahid Ahmadi-Roshan site in Natanz was also attacked. These attacks were repeated and carried out with a pre-planned strategy aiming to inflict as much damage as possible on nuclear facilities.”
He added: “Fortunately, the damages occurred above ground and, in terms of human loss, we had no casualties. There was also no radiation leak that could cause public concern. By the grace of God, we did not face any serious damage. We are currently conducting a thorough damage assessment.”
The AEOI chief continued: “This attack was a terrorist act by the Zionist regime, whose bloodthirsty and inhumane nature has now been exposed for all to see and can no longer be denied. International organizations—many of which are under the influence of hegemonic and Zionist powers—have proven themselves irrelevant to global peace and security.”
Eslami asserted: “For years, this regime, with direct support from the United States, has acted with utter impunity in dismantling global peace and security.”
He said: “We have repeatedly reported these threats and acts of aggression to the United Nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency through our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but not a single clear position has been taken against this aggressor regime.”
Eslami emphasized: “Our path is clear and our plans well-defined. These attacks have not had the slightest impact on the will of our personnel. Our teams are working with greater faith, strength, and enthusiasm at all nuclear sites. Their morale has doubled after this attack. We assure the noble people of Iran that we will stand firm on this path to the very end and will not retreat for a moment. We will continue this journey with determination.”
In conclusion, the Vice President noted: “The spilled blood of our martyrs only makes the tree of this nation more fruitful, deep-rooted, and resilient. Today, by God’s grace and despite the enemies’ wishes, we have achieved the most advanced technological accomplishments. This knowledge is not only grounded in our land, but deeply rooted in our souls. The martyrdom of these dear ones is not the end—these martyred scientists were pioneers in the field of nuclear science and mentors to hundreds of students and specialists who now carry this flag forward. Therefore, this path is not vulnerable; in fact, every act of hostility only strengthens our resolve and further unites our ranks.”
