Full text of the decree from the Commander-in-Chief:
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Major General Amir Hatami,
In view of your commitment, competence, and experience, you are hereby promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed as the Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army.
Given the Army’s vast reservoir of capable and faithful human resources, as well as the experiences from the Sacred Defense era and thereafter, it is expected that under your command—with a transformative and revolutionary approach—combat readiness and capabilities, spiritual and intellectual elevation, and the provision of welfare needs, as well as synergy with other armed forces, will be enhanced, and the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran will reach a more commendable standard.
I express my sincere gratitude to Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi for his valuable and devoted service.
I ask God Almighty for continued success for all.
