Erdogan holds phone talks with Trump on Iran

The Turkish President held a phone conversation with his American counterpart to discuss the Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran.

According to the Persian report of ISNA, the Turkish presidency reported a phone call between the Presidents of Turkey and the United States focused on the ongoing war between Iran and the Zionist regime.

As reported by Anadolu Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated during his Sunday evening phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump: “The only solution to end the nuclear dispute and the Iran-Israel war is diplomacy.”

President Erdogan further said, “Israel’s attacks on Iran have caused irreversible economic and civilian damage to both sides, and escalation must be prevented.”

Regarding Trump’s recent remarks that “Iran and Israel must make peace,” Erdogan emphasized, “I welcome President Trump’s recent comments about the need to end the conflict between Israel and Iran. Turkey is also ready to make efforts to help facilitate this process.”
