Saeed Khatibzadeh, Deputy Foreign Minister and head of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), shared video footage showing parts of the IPIS in ruins as a result of the Zionist regime’s “cowardly” assault on this civilian research and studies center.

He wrote on his X account:

“The criminal regime of Israel launched a deliberate and ruthless strike on one of the buildings of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, located directly across from the Institute for Political and International Studies.

Several civilians were injured in the attack, including a number of my colleagues who were taken to the hospital for treatment.

This footage shows the library of my institute,
@IPIS_Iran , which was targeted in this cowardly assault.

This is yet another clear war crime, part of the regime of Israel’s ongoing and systematic campaign of aggression against #Iran.”

Israel has launched waves of unprovoked attacks on Iranian cities across the country since Friday. The occupying regime even targeted the nuclear facilities in Natanz, which, according to the Geneva Conventions, are strictly protected from attack.

Many civilians, most of them women and children, were martyred in the strikes.
