Commander of Iran's Border Guard, Brigadier General Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, said that none of the country’s border crossings are closed and all are open and functioning normally with daily operations underway.

General Goudarzi addressed the latest situation at the country’s borders, saying: “The spread of certain concerning rumors about the state of our borders is part of the enemy’s psychological warfare and propaganda campaign.”
He added, “At present, all border crossings are open, and both commercial and passenger traffic are proceeding as usual.”
Regarding the volume of traffic at the borders, he stated: “Except for the Mehran border crossing, there is no traffic congestion at any of the country’s border points.”
Commenting on the high traffic volume at Mehran, General Goudarzi explained: “Some pilgrims had obtained permits to visit the holy shrines before the Zionist regime’s criminal aggression, and some are now returning from their pilgrimage.”
Full monitoring plan at border crossings
Speaking about the security situation at the borders, the Commander noted: “Iran’s Border Guard, in full coordination with the Armed Forces, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Army, is closely monitoring all movements and crossings along the border.”
General Goudarzi emphasized: “All commercial exchanges and human movements are being precisely monitored, and the Border Guard is tracking all land, sea, and even aerial activities along the country’s borders in real time.”
He once again stressed the calm at the nation’s borders, particularly along the western frontiers, and concluded: “The Border Guard of the Islamic Republic of Iran is committed to safeguarding and ensuring peace and security for the great nation of Iran along the borders, and has dedicated all its strength—and lives—to this mission.”
