Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in Geneva, Ali Bahraini, presented a detailed report during the emergency meeting of OIC ambassadors, held on Monday in Geneva at Iran’s request.
He outlined the illegitimate and tyrannical actions of the Zionist regime against Iran and called for international condemnation, decisive support from Islamic countries, and the holding of an urgent public session of the OIC to investigate the matter.
During the meeting, the ambassadors of Islamic countries — including Turkey, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sudan, Djibouti, and the UAE — explicitly denounced the attacks by the Zionist regime on Iranian soil and the targeting of Iran’s nuclear facilities.
These countries expressed their condolences to the Iranian nation, described the attacks as a blatant violation of international law and a serious threat to regional peace and stability, and called for a firm response from the international community.
The majority of participants emphasized the need to support Iran in the face of this violation and called for an immediate return to political dialogue and an end to the Israeli regime’s acts of aggression.
