In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, the spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmaeil Baghaei, said his country was in a fight with a genocidal enemy and that any American intervention in the conflict with Israel “would be a recipe for an all-out war.”
Israel launched an unprovoked war on June 13 by firing waves of missiles and drones at Iran.
Israel has killed dozens of civilians, including women and children, and has inflicted damage on civilian infrastructure and Iran’s nuclear facilities, which are under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
