According to the Persian edition of ISNA, Douglas Macgregor, a retired U.S. Army colonel and former Pentagon advisor, wrote in a post on the social media platform X: “Don’t be fooled, Israel’s situation is worse than people think. About one-third of Tel Aviv has been damaged or destroyed.”
In the continuation of his post, he added: “As far as their military facilities are concerned, I’ve been told that many of Israel’s fighter jets have been relocated to Cyprus to avoid attacks. Israel was not prepared for Iran’s response.”
The former U.S. military advisor also warned in an interview that a U.S. attack on Iran would trigger World War III.
He noted: “Israel’s situation is extremely dire. Nearly one-third of Israel has been damaged or destroyed, and I’m certain this trend will continue.”
