According to the Persian edition of ISNA, Esmaeil Baqaei, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, emphasized in an interview with Qatar’s Al Araby network on Saturday that Iran will defend its territory against the repeated attacks of the Zionist regime.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson stressed: “We are ready to negotiate and have not missed any opportunity to reach an agreement.”
Referring to Iran-U.S. negotiations, he said: “Iran did not abandon the negotiating table; it is the Zionist regime that betrayed diplomacy.”
Baqaei emphasized that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful and there is no justification for opposing it.
He noted that there is no evidence indicating Iran has deviated from the peaceful nature of its nuclear program.
Esmaeil Baqaei also stated that it is clear to regional countries that Israel will not limit its aggression to Iran.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson, stating that Iran will respond to any U.S. attack in accordance with international law, stressed that the Zionist regime is determined to continue sowing chaos in the region.
Baqaei further said: “We have hidden nothing from the International Atomic Energy Agency. Israel kills civilians, children, and women, claiming they are scientists and military commanders.”
