According to the Persian section of Tasnim News Agency, the 33 member states firmly condemned Israel’s attacks on civilian infrastructure, including residential areas, research centers, telecommunications, energy, and transportation systems. They described these attacks as a flagrant violation of the fundamental principles of international law and the UN Charter—actions that have undermined regional and global security and posed serious threats to peace and stability in the region and beyond.
Furthermore, the 33 members regarded the military attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities—which are under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) Safeguards—as violations of international humanitarian law, the IAEA Charter, relevant resolutions, and a serious threat to civilian lives.
This group—comprising Algeria, Bangladesh, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, North Korea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Iran, Indonesia, Iraq, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Senegal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tunisia, Venezuela, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe—extended their heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Iran in a joint statement.
