The 18th National Youth Music Festival concluded on Saturday evening, September 20, with a closing ceremony at Vahdat Hall, where the winners were announced.

The closing ceremony of the 18th National Youth Music Festival was held this evening, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Vahdat Hall with the presence of prominent figures of Iranian music.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Hamidreza Ardalan, the festival’s secretary, explained that the 18th edition of the National Youth Music Festival was organized and held in two stages.

The first stage took place from September 1 to 16, during which 1,640 young artists competed in three categories: “Regional and Folk Music,” “Radif-Dastgahi Music (Classical Persian),” and “Classical Music.” In the end, 840 of these artists advanced to the second stage, and the top three winners were selected from among them.

Ardalan emphasized that although the top three rankings are important, the core foundation of the festival is to create a gathering for young people from different ethnicities and regions of Iran, enabling cultural exchange and mutual understanding of instruments and musical traditions. He added that this event is an opportunity to present the ancient musical heritage of the country and to ensure the continuity of Iran’s auditory culture.
