Speaking at the National Conference on Investment Opportunities in North Khorasan Province of Iran, attended by Iran’s Vice President for Executive Affairs, Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Iran Ylyas Gayypov highlighted the longstanding friendly relations between Iran and Turkmenistan.
“Investment plays a vital role for nations and can drive economic growth,” he said, adding that Turkmenistan seeks to broaden its cooperation with Iran through memorandums of understanding signed with bordering provinces.
The ambassador described the conference as a valuable opportunity to explore existing potentials, domestic products, and investment prospects, fostering new avenues of economic partnership.
Gayypov also stressed the need to strengthen ties with Turkmenistan’s Ahal Province, noting that closer interprovincial collaboration could open new opportunities for investment and economic cooperation between the two countries.
