Iran’s Saadi Foundation, an organization that is focused on spreading the Persian language around the world, has launched the global campaign ‘My Persian Book’ to encourage reading.

In celebration of Book and Reading Week in Iran, the Saadi Foundation has launched the global campaign My Persian Book.

This initiative aims to encourage reading and strengthen the connection between Persian learners worldwide with the Persian language and Iranian culture.

Participants can pose in their classroom, library, at a cultural or historical site, or next to their national flag, and then send the photo to the Foundation.

Persian learners from various countries are invited to take a photo with one of the Saadi Foundation’s Persian language textbooks.

The submission period is open from October 27 to November 15, 2025.

Set up in 2013, the Saadi Foundation is an organization dedicated to the promotion and support of the Persian language.

Its core activities are centered on providing comprehensive educational opportunities for learners at all stages. This includes offering both online and in-person language classes, as well as specialized training programs for those who wish to become teachers of Farsi.

Beyond direct instruction, the foundation is deeply involved in the creation of essential learning resources. It undertakes the compilation of textbooks and educational materials tailored for students, from those just beginning their studies to advanced learners.

To formally assess proficiency, the foundation also develops and administers a standardized testing system for the Persian language.

The work of the Saadi Foundation extends to further enriching the field of Persian language education. It organizes specialized courses designed for individuals who already have a foundation in Farsi, aiming to deepen their knowledge and skills.

Furthermore, the foundation is committed to advancing the methodology of language teaching through dedicated research into instructional techniques and the linguistic corpus itself.
