Regarding the recent developments related to the nuclear negotiations, I would like to remain optimistic, said Iran’s former head of Organization of Atomic Energy.

Avash News: Ali Akbar Salehi said that opportunities pass like clouds, and my only concern is the mischief of certain foreign actors, as well as untimely positions taken by some figures at home, which I hope will be properly managed.
What is extremely vital for us under the current circumstances is maintaining and safeguarding national cohesion, along with vigilance, wisdom, and prudence in domestic affairs and international interactions, Salehi said.

This is because we are facing multiple, intertwined challenges, including livelihood, security, regional, and international issues. Therefore, it is essential that policymaking and decision-making in the country be both swift and sound.
Salehi noted that, to facilitate and accelerate decision-making at this very sensitive juncture, the authorities and powers of the government and the president should be expanded.

“Based on my familiarity with Dr. Larijani and Dr. Araghchi, I believe that affairs will ultimately move forward with prudence and proper management. I ask Almighty God to grant these esteemed individuals and their colleagues even greater success at this sensitive moment and critical historical turning point,” he concluded.
