AVASH NEWS: The Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships concluded with Iranian weightlifter Anahita Zarei taking first place in the 77kg category. The Iranian representative won a bronze medal in the snatch and two gold medals in the clean and jerk and overall competition.
She also won a valuable silver medal in the junior clean and jerk event.
Nasim Ghasemi was another Iranian representative in the women’s 77kg youth category. She won a gold medal in the snatch and two silver medals in the clean and jerk and overall competition.
