Ayhan Hajizade, head of the press service of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said: “The Republic of Azerbaijan firmly rejects claims that its airspace or territory was used by any country to conduct military operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran or any other country.” According to APA, Hajizade noted that “such claims are baseless and lack any credible evidence.” He added that “these claims undermine the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, which are based on mutual respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty, and non-interference in each other’s internal affairs.”
