Speaking at the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council on Monday, Bahreini said that civilian sites, including schools and hospitals, have been struck in different Iranian cities since the aggression began two days earlier.
He also said that the violation of human rights is not a sign of power, and that the legitimacy in the international system is only realized through commitment to international law, respect for countries’ sovereignty, and protecting civilians.
The Iranian envoy called on the United Nations and the international community to strongly condemn the ongoing US-Israeli aggression against his country and take action to protect global peace and security.
