According to the source, the US has agreed to the immediate end of hostilities on all fronts upon signing a framework agreement. Iran had previously stated that the war must end on all fronts, including Lebanon, and its new proposal is based on that principle.
Progress in the negotiations has occurred as the US accepted this provision, stating that the end of hostilities will be announced after signing the deal. Arrangements for a 30-day period, during which no renewed conflict will occur, will also be discussed.
The source added that the US has abandoned its request to transfer enriched nuclear material to its territory and has instead emphasized maintaining oversight of the nuclear material’s status.
Previously, the US had insisted on the transfer of nuclear material, but this demand has now been dropped in the latest proposal. Iran has also stressed that discussions on the nuclear material should occur within a specific time frame.
