Avash News: In an exclusive interview with Avash News, Bagherzadeh provided the latest updates on the hospital’s condition in Dubai, saying that a meeting had been held with the presence of Mirjana Spoljaric, president of the ICRC, during which they pledged to follow up on the hospital’s situation.
Bagherzadeh said that the hospital had been closed illegally and that they hope the ICRC will keep its word in helping them.
“We also pursued the release of the Tuska ship very seriously as part of another plan. The cargo of the Tuska was related to the Red Crescent Society and included medicines for dialysis patients, drugs, and humanitarian relief supplies,” he said.
Bagherzadeh added that they demanded the release of civilians on board the Tuska ship.
“There were neither weapons nor military items on the ship. It was only carrying medicines for dialysis patients,” he said.
Bagherzadeh said that, alongside its relief mission, the community is trying to highlight crimes allegedly committed by Israel and the U.S. against Iran in the recent war.
Dubai closed Iran’s hospital in a hostile act to retaliate against Iran’s attacks on U.S. military bases.
Iran has repeatedly stated that its attacks do not target its neighbors, but rather U.S. military bases that are involved in attacks on Iran.
