Avash News: Iran and the United States reached a two-week truce agreement and will start a new round of negotiations on Friday.

The United States president, who had threatened Iran to “destroy its civilization” on the 40th day of the war, has released another post on his Truth Social account announcing the truce.

Following this message, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, also sent a message representing Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
Araghchi thanked Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Asim Munir, the commander of the Pakistan Army, for their tireless efforts to end the war in the region.

“In response to the brotherly request by Pakistan’s Prime Minister included in his post on his X account, and with regard to the United States’ request for negotiation included in this country’s 15-point proposal, and the announcement by the US president stating that he has accepted the generalities of Iran’s 10-point proposal as the basis for negotiation, I announce on behalf of the SNSC:

1. If attacks against Iran are halted, Iran’s armed forces will also halt their attacks.
2. Traffic through the Hormuz Strait will be possible for two weeks, in collaboration with Iran’s armed forces and taking into consideration technical limitations.”
